China-Australia Vocational Education Cooperation TAFE Education Model Reform Signing Ceremony Held in Beijing

To comply with the core principles of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and by to take a further step of implementing the Beijing Vocational Education Reform and Development Project (2018-2020), China-Australia Vocational Education Cooperation – TAFE Education Model Reform Signing Ceremony was grandly held at Beijing Business School on September 17, 2018. It is a milestone of the vocational education cooperation between China and Australia, initiated with the great benefits to the development of Early Childhood Education and Accounting sectors in China.

The participants include Mr. Dongjiang Wang, the head of Vocational Education and Continuing Education Division of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, Mr. Lishe Wang, deputy director of China International Talent Exchange Foundation Department of State Adminstration of Foreign Experts Affairs P.R. China, Mr. Barry Guan, director of Australia Vocational Education Alliance, Ms. Qian Li, director of Victorian Department of Trading and Investment Representative, Education and Training Program Service, Mr. Jun Yu, the Vocational and Adult Education Department of Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, Mr. Dino Bettiol and Mr. Adam Usher, the Vice President International Development and Manager Education of Melbourne Polytechnic, as well as the presidents and representatives from Beijing Business School and other nine vocational schools
and colleges.

Leaded and supported by Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, AVEA and Australian experts team will help the involved colleges and schools to reform their curriculum to an international standards, through continuous teachers’ training on teaching methodologies, curriculum designing and new evaluation system formulation. There are also possibilities for the qualified students to obtain credits for further study in Australia.
